Shipping & Delivery

How does shipping work?

Once you purchase your desired piece(s), we will do the rest! We'll start packaging up your order and get shipping booked through USHIP. Our USHIP shippers are mom and pop transporters that we have cultivated relationships with! Once your order is picked up, our team will keep you updated throughout the shipping process all the way until your pieces are delievered to your home! 

Do you ship overseas?

We ship within continental United States only.  

How long will it take to receive my order?

Great question! Furniture shipments usually take 2-6 weeks. However, it all depends on where you're located! We've had shipments arrive 48 hours after the order was processed! Not to worry, we'll update you with the estimated date and time of arrival after your order is placed and shipping is booked! 

What is the current status of my order?

Returns

Do you accept returns?

Due to the hassle and high cost of shipping furniture, we do not accept returns. Please request additional information and images of your desired piece if you're unsure about purchasing so there are no surprises once you receive your item! 

What if my item arrives damaged?

This is a very rational question to have! Unfortunately, accidents happen and sometimes damage occurs during the events of shipping no matter the companies involved. However, we treat this situation on a case-by- case basis. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delievery. 

Custom Orders

Do you do custom orders?

Custom orders are our forte! If you're looking for a specific piece that best fits the style and size of your space, let us know and we will send over images of our pre-restored inventory. If you like one of these pieces, we will customize it accoring to your liking! If one of these pieces don't tickle your fancy, not to worry, we will start the search to find your perfect piece! Once we find it, we will begin the customized restoration process and your dreamy piece will compliment your space in no time!

What if I love an LD piece but want to change the color?

Everyone is a designer of their own space and we want you to have the opportunity to design your perfect piece in collaboration with us! If you see one of our pieces that you love but would like to alter it according to your space, let us know, and we will begin the makeover!

Our Restoration Process

What does the restoration process look like?

Do you have the time? Because this is our favorite thing to talk about! It all starts with the search. Our team handpicks each LD piece and before we call it ours, it goes through our evaluation process: is this piece crafted with solid wood? Does it have dove-tailed drawers? How was it taken care of in the past? What does it smell like? Yes, we even smell each of the pieces! Once the pieces pass the evaluation, they go through complete sanitation. And, then off to the head of design where Jessi puts her vision for each piece on paper. After the vision is in place, Devon, the head of labor, begins the complete restoration proces: intensive sanding to the raw wood, applying 2 coats of high-quality primer, 2-4 coats of our high-quality water based scuff-defense paint by Sherwin Williams, and finished with a water-based sealer to prolong the life of the paint (all of this is done with a commerical turbine sprayer). After this, "OOOOing" and "AHHHHing" is expected. Lastly, we install the new or restored hardware, have another set of eyes to look over each piece, and then send it over to the staging area. This is where you enter the picture - when you interact with our social media accounts and/or purchase our pieces! 

Will the vintage piece look brand new?

Our pieces will have brand new finishes, but will not look "brand new". Charming imperfections are to be expected due to the age of our furniture averaging about 60 years old. Our vintage pieces still have great bones due to the way that they were crafted (think dovetail joints) and the quality of the hardwood, but the interior could look well used and their could be a minor flaw here and there. Afterall, vintage pieces served other families for 60+ years and counting. Talk about charm! 

What are your care instructions?

We advise using a lent-free soft dry-cloth for day-to-day dusting. Microfiber cloths will be your best friend! Please avoid using harsh household chemicals while cleaning and be careful about dragging items across the surface.

Is it possible to pick up my piece?

Does vintage furniture and modern decor compliment one another? (The answer is yes). Please contact us via email, text, or DM us on our Facebook Business page and we'll schedule a pickup time with you! 

Refinishing Services

Do you refinish personal pieces?

Yes, we do! We breathe life back into client pieces often and would love to do the same for you. Please email photos of your piece(s) and what you'd like done and we'll get back with you with additional information! 

Misc.

Do you sell to the trade?

We love working with interior designers and are excited to offer our design friends a 20% off discount! Please email us to further discuss collaborating.
